Brad’s Electric played an essential role in preparing the Heintz Badger Valley Farm for the Land O’ Lakes robotic milking system by providing Expert Electrical Services. To enable cows to be milked up to six times in a 24-hour period, the Lely Astronaut system was installed, and the success of this project hinged on the installation of several critical components.

To meet the specific needs of the farm, Brad’s Electric custom-manufactured the wiring and controls for the project. The entire harness was designed to ensure the efficient functioning of the robotic milking system. Brad’s Electric provided 4-wire connections to be located in one box, and multiple branch circuit wiring from a single box was also possible. All devices were color-coded, and all termination points were labeled to ensure easy identification.

The installation of the main electrical service panel was critical. It provided the necessary power to operate the Lely Astronaut system and other farm equipment. The 3-phase electrical service to the barn and pasture buildings was designed to meet the specific needs of the farm and ensure reliable and efficient operation.

The electrical control panel was an essential component of the project, designed to interface with the robotic milking machine in the barn to ensure seamless operation. A fence charger for the cows was also installed to ensure their safety and security and provide the necessary power to operate the fencing system.

Overall, the successful implementation of the Lely Astronaut robotic milking system at the Heintz Badger Valley Farm was made possible by the Expert Electrical Services provided by Brad’s Electric.
